This kit adds a built-in GSM module for outbound celluarl residential dialing or texting.

The Visonic Powermax Pro is an advanced self contained wireless security system supporting voice prompts, web and telephone remote control and monitoring in a professional grade system. This bundle includes internal prox reader, 2 prox tags, wireless motion detector and 2 wireless door/window sensors. Internal GSM module pre-installed. Optional Internet option can be added.

The Powermax Pro supports telephone self-monitoring and control using voice menus and messages, lighting control options via X-10, elderly/sick monitoring features, latchkey alerts and panic alerts.

Numerous wireless options include a full range of door/window, motion, smoke, CO detectors, one way and two way key fobs, interior siren, exterior siren, wireless keypad, remote commander.

The Powermax Pro supports up to 28 wireless zones (sensors) and 2 hardwired zones and has a built-in piezo siren and connections for 2 external hardwired ports for siren and PGM output. It has a digital dialer for reporting to a central monitoring station, and also has a built-in telephone dialer which can be programmed to call up to 4 user telephone numbers to report an alert to the homeowner or friends for zero cost self monitoring. Add a PowerLink Internet module and it can also report via SMS message or e-mail and can be monitored by web.

The Powermax Pro is an excellent system to protect the elderly or sick. In addition to standard alarm functionality, it can be programmed to alert by telephone if there is a panic alert from a keyfob, panic wristwatch or pendant in case of a fall or accident. It can also be programmed to alert by telephone if there is NO activity on certain zones such as motion sensors in the bedroom, bathroom or kitchen within a programmable time period. This way if the resident doesn't move for an extended time the system will send an alert and family can check in by telephone or visit to ensure everything is OK.

The Powermax Pro supports 2 way voice communication so the central station, or the person receiving a telephone alarm call, can be allowed to listen in to see what's happening at the house.

A XPW713 UPB interface can be added to the Powermax Pro to allow it to control lights or appliances in a UPB network. You can control these devices remotely, based on zone triggers, or set a schedule for them to turn on/off while you're home or away.

Latch Key mode allows the alarm to call a specified telephone number when the kids arrive home and disarm the system, so you know they're safe.
