2450 - Smarthome IOLinc INSTEON Low Voltage Input Output Interface Module
The Smartlabs I/O Linc plugs in to a wall outlet and provides a single dry contact closure input, and a single relay output (Form C - both normally open & normally closed contacts). Once connected it can be linked to your Insteon or X10 automation system to provide integration with all sorts of household events.
The input is compatible with any contact closure device such as a door/window sensor, garage door (overhead door) magnetic contact, water sensor, floor sensor, etc. This is NOT a voltage input.
The output is a Form C relay which means it provides both normally open and normally closed connections. It operates in 4 modes:
- Latching (continuous) - stays open/closed until triggered
- Momentary A - responds to either 'Insteon On' or 'Insteon Off' command but not both
- Momentary B - responds to both 'Insteon On' and 'Insteon Off' signals
- Momentary C - Uses IOLinc input to determine if it should respond to Insteon signal
Momentary duration can be set from 0.2 seconds to 25 seconds with a default of 2 seconds.
2450 - I/O Linc Features:
