2475S2 - Smarthome Insteon InlineLinc Relay With Sense
The 2475S2 InlineLinc with Sense replaces part# 2475S and is an inline relay module for switching loads up to 120V on/off where dimming isn't required or possible. The 2475S2 also has 2 unique features that set it apart from other inline modules. Firstly it has an additional 'sense' wire that will turn on it's own load and also trigger an Insteon signal when 120V is detected. Now any sensor, sensor light or similar can turn on other lights or trigger other Insteon scenes. The 2475S2 also has completely separated load wires which means it can switch any voltage up to 120V, not just the load it is wired in-line with.
The InLineLinc with sense uses a very quiet relay - about 80% quieter than typical relay products making it more acceptable for use in quiet rooms. It is also X10 compatible.
This product is great for use with ceiling fans and other circuits without an existing wall switch. The additional 'sense' function makes it perfect for use with motion detector floodlights and other sensors (see Insteon Floodlights).
