2476DH - Smarthome Insteon / X10 SwitchLinc 1000W Dimmer White

This is the 1000W version of Smarthome's best dimmer switch, supporting Insteon™ technology as well as X10 so you get the best of both worlds and can integrate it into your existing set-up.

This dimmer features true rocker action - tap the top to turn on, tap the bottom to turn off, hold the top to brighten, hold the bottom to dim. It's very intuitive for anyone in the house to use. Lights will fade on, fade off gradually for a stunning effect and to increase bulb life. The fade on/off rate and the initial brightness level when turned on, can both be set by the user. It also supports pre-set dim levels so that one command will turn the light to exactly the right brightness level without having to go full bright first. This switch can be a member of multiple lighting scenes, allowing a single keypad press or signal to command multiple switches and dimmers to go to a pre-determined user selectable brightness level! 2 Way support means that it will respond to X10 status requests as well as transmitting it's status when it's used locally at the switch.

Insteon transmits its signal faster than X10 and is a redundant protocol, in that every receiver confirms when it receives and processes a command from the transmitter. And since each receiver is also a repeater, the more switches you have in the house, the more reliable the system becomes.

Each Insteon installation should start with a 2443P Accesspoint/Coupler pair.

The colours of the LED indicators and paddles can both be changed by purchasing a colour change kit. Please note that no trim plate is included, screwless wallplates are available.
