The Audioplex CATiLINK allows you to run audio from portable media systems (eg Apple IPOD), computers or other audio sources, to your stereo or whole house audio systems over affordable CAT5 wiring for distances of up to 500 feet. By utilizing the latest in low noise amplification, signals stay crystal clear with virtually no signal degradation. Simply locate the transmitter unit in the room where the source is located and use the RCA or stereo 1/8" audio jack to connect your device. Then locate the receiver unit near your audio system and connect the two with CAT5 cable.
