The Audioplex CMX4056 IR distribution kit with in-ceiling IR target is our best quality, professional performance, plasma friendly kit. Mounting the IR receiver in the ceiling allows the remote to be aimed higher when in normal use and provides great room coverage. The IR target has talkback and status LEDs included.

Designed for processional installers, it features design characteristics you won't find in competing products. The IR signals from your remote will be relayed to IR emitters hidden in your AV rack so you can hide your equipment away but still retain complete control.

Plasma friendly design allows target to be used near plasma/LCD TVs

Also includes 4 tiny IR emitters, IR prisms and all required hardware to make a complete kit

The IR signals are then passed from the receiver to the included connecting block and then distributed to the included IR bugs that can be stuck on your AV gear in the cabinet. They can also be stuck on the AV shelf so that each one can control multiple devices on each shelf. IR prisms can be added to focus the IR beam in this case. This kit includes 4 IR emitters and 4 IR prisms that can be used so you don't have wires running all along the front of your gear. Just stick on an IR prism and mount the IR emitter on the shelf.
