The Dakota DCPA-2500 is a driveway alarm system for home or business owners, designed to let you know when a vehicle enters your driveway. The probe detects only vehicles and won't be set off by animals or people and the transmitter has a wireless range of up to 2500 feet to the receiver base.
The receiver features an adjustable alert volume level, support for 4 separate zones for adding additional 2500 series transmitters. Each zone has a corresponding form C relay output that triggers when the zone is activated so that it can be connected to phone dialer, external horn or buzzer, security system, etc. Plus there is a 12VDC output that can be tied to the zone(s). for connecting it to an alarm panel, dialer, loud siren, buzzer, etc.
The new reminder feature can be set to flash the LEDs or beep every 15 minutes to let you know there was an alert while you were away.
