Typical cameras can't deal with extreme bright back lighting such as when pointing towards an exterior door or window because the subject in front of the back lighting will be all shadows, but with WDR (wide dynamic range) the camera can compensate and provide a clear detailed image.

Easy set up by way of on screen menu and digital controls, with a built-in service monitor port and cable to connect the camera to a local portable monitor so you can see what you're aiming.
