The DVR-4G supports real time recording (120FPS total or 30 FPS per
channel) with H.264 compression to maximize picture quality and
minimize storage requirements. Recording can be set for 24/7, on event or on motion detected from the camera feeds.
Recorded images can be accessed remotely by web or on a 3G phone including iPhone, Blackberry, Windows mobile or Symbian (Android in the works). Video can be played back locally on an attached VGA monitor or saved
to a USB memory key. Recorded video can be exported in AVI format with date/time stamp. Pentaplex operation allows record, view live video, play back recorded
video, back up data and stream network video.
The graphical mouse driven menus make it easy to set up and get running. Remote access is
accomplished using a standard IE web browser or the included Windows
client software. The included Windows CMS software can manage multiple DVRs with floorplan layout support and ability to pick images from multiple DVRs on a single screen, making
it perfect for owners of multiple store/business locations.
These DVRs also feature PTZ control for cameras including Channel
Vision's 6143 and 6153 PTZ cameras. It's even possible to have an e-mail alert sent to
notify of alarm conditions.
