EZIO2X4 - Simplehomenet Insteon 4 Input / 2 Output Module

The EZIO2X4 is an X10 and Insteon compatible plug-in input/output module. It has 4 inputs and 2 outputs for integrating external events in to your home automation system.

The 4 inputs are broken down in to 2 opto-isolated inputs and 2 0-5VDC inputs that can be set as analog or digital. These inputs can be used for sensing contact closures or other sensors. The Windows configuration software can set the inputs so they only trigger an action after a user-defined delay. Inputs can trigger Insteon or X10 commands.

The 2 normally open (NO) outputs can handle up to 0.5A @ 30VDC or 120VAC. They can be used to control indicator lights, larger capacity relays or garge door closers for example. The outputs can be triggered by Insteon or X10 events, and can be set to be latched, or momentary with a range of 1 second to 255 minutes.
