This model is for 1.0 inch pipes and can be used for water heaters or whole premise flood protection.
The
Floodstop auto water shut-off runs on AC power, batteries, or both.
There are also a set of normally closed (NC) alarm outputs / contacts
that can be connected to an alarm panel, automation system or an
auto-dialer if desired!
Floodstop FS1.00NPT 1.0 inch Water Heater Flood Detector Auto Shutoff Features:
- Floodstop valve connects to 1.0 inch supply line
- AC powered or battery powered, or AC powered with battery back-up
- 4 "C" Batteries last for up to 1 year
- Solid brass "full port" non-restricting valve body, DC motor driven ball-valve
- When leak is detected, alarm sounds and water supply is automatically shut off
- Can be connected to alarm or automation system with the on-board alarm output if desired
- Controller mounts on wall, sensor is placed at the base of the water heater
- Additional sensors (FSA-SENSOR) can be easily added for additional protection
