Z-WAVE HOME CONTROL OPTIONS

For those who prefer wireless solutions, Z-Wave is a completely wireless mesh-network technology for home automation. Whether you're looking to simply control a lamp or two, or automate the key lights in your house with Internet and iPhone control, Z-wave is a viable solution. Intermatic is clearing out their stock of Z-Wave products so we bought a tonne and we're selling them cheap.

There are several options to provide advanced control of your Z-Wave network for timed events and remote access while you're away from home. We have solutions for both computer based and standalone based control.

Software Based Control

Our two favourite software applications are mControl from Vancouver based Embedded Automation and Homeseer from USA based Homeseer Technologies. mControl is a client-server application perfect for Windows and Windows Media Center. Homeseer version 2 is an advanced server based application, available in a standard version and Homeseer Pro version. Don't forget a USB Z-Wave controller to go with your software.

Stand Alone Energy Efficient Controllers

Don't want to keep a computer running? Stand-alone controllers offer great reliability, low power consumption, easy set-up and Internet access. Our most popular controller is VERA from Micasa Verde. For those looking for more advanced options and expandability, you can't go wrong with Hometroller.
