The Nyrius audio/video sender kit uses 5.8GHZ wireless frequencies and 6 channels to provide long range transmission without the interference seen with older 2.4ghz products. The built-in infrared (IR) repeater system also allows you to use your IR remote from the other room too. The transmitter has an IR receiver built in to it and the receiver comes with an IR bug that sticks on to the device you wish to control.
