The SVAT PI300-SD looks like a regular LCD alarm clock and works like one too so it blends in at home or at the office. But hidden in this clock is a tiny pinhole camera that takes full colour video and records it to the built-in SD recorder.
Advanced MPEG4 compression allows the included 2GB SD card to record a month's worth of video. The PI300-SD supports up to 32GB SD cards (available here) to extend recording time even more.
Video footage can be recorded using three different modes: Continuous, Scheduled, or Motion Detection. Recordings are time and date stamped. Auto white balance, auto electronic shutter and auto gain control ensure good quality images without messing with settings. It can record in either 320x240 or 640x480 resolution and has selectable quality settings and frame rates.
To review your video simply remove the SD card and plug it in to your
computer, or connect the PI300-SD to your TV or monitor with an RCA
connection.
