WGL-30062 - WGL RELAY8NET Serial 8 Output Relay Module

The Relay8Net is great for control applications demanding isolated, dry contacts, and the degree of certainty of operation that can come with only with a hard wired system. It connects to your computer or automation system directly via RS232 (serial) connection.

The Relay8net responds to the same simple 3 byte command as it's irrigation brother, the Rain8net and may be connect to any Rain8 network and assigned any one of 250 possible addresses. Since it uses the same protocol it can be driven by any software designed to control the Rain8Net product. You can also download a Windows configuration and control program here.

Possible commands include:

• Turn on or off each relay individually
• Turn off all relays on a specific module
• Turn off all relays on all modules
• Get the current status of all relays
• Optional momentary mode from 1 second to 250 minute
• Up to 1000' between Relay8net and computer

WGL 30062 Relay8Net 8 Relay Module Features:

• Connects via RS232 serial to computer or Rain8Net network.
• Connects via USB using the optional WGL part# 10006 USB to Serial interface
• Each of the 8 independent relays is equipped with a form C contact that is brought out to two plug in, detachable terminal strips.
• 1A @24VDC resistive
• 1A @120VAC resistive
• Relay contacts are designed for low current applications as well as power switching.
