The RCS TR60 replaces a standard heat/cool thermostat and provides full scheduling without any outside control. But what makes it powerful is its ability to connect to home automation controllers with its RS485 serial interface allowing it to be controlled and report back to the automation system.
The innovative two piece design that makes it easy to retrofit without having to run new wires to the thermostat location. It connects using the existing (4) wires. It is a fully functional stand alone thermostat unit compatible with Gas/Electric and Heat Pump systems and 2 stage heat/cool. RCS units are supported by practically all home automation hardware and software systems.
The TR60 Wall Display Unit (WDU) goes where a standard thermostat is installed. It connects to the (included) Thermostat Control Unit (TCU) via standard 4 wire cable with the control unit being installed near the furnace/AC unit.
Supports schedules, economy setbacks, messaging/text display on WDU, remote sensors.
