WGL-41050 WGL RAIN8NET 8 Zone Serial Sprinkler Controller Master

The Rain8Net is a modular 8 zone sprinkler controller that can be controlled by any computer's serial port, and over the internet with the appropriate software. Additional Rain8Net expansion modules can be added to expand the system to up to 2040 zones.

Each zone can be turned on or off individually, or all zones on a particular module can be turned on or off simultaneously. Each zone can be set with a default run timer (15 sec to 3 hrs) that ensures that the zone isn't over-watered even in the absence of an "off" command from the computer.

The Rain8Net's zones can also be polled by the computer to determine the status of each zone. The master controller can be up to 1000 feet away using standard serial cable. Only TX, RX and GND connections are required. An optional part# 10006 USB to Serial adapter can be used to convert the connection to USB.
