The Dakota WPA-3000 includes a vehicle detector probe that is buried alongside or under the driveway, 50 feet of cable to feed the transmitter, a wireless transmitter and the WR-3000 wireless receiver. The wireless transmitter can be up to 600 feet away from the wireless receiver. This kit is perfect for use in locations where wild animals or other visitors might set off a regular motion detector. The buried probe will only be triggered by vehicles within 10-12 feet.

Once a vehicle is detected, a signal is sent along the buried cable to the wirless transmitter.  From there the transmitter has a range of over 600 feet to the wirelesss receiver that can be mounted on a wall or placed on a counter top.  The receiver can support up to 4 Dakota senders and will play different tones to indicate when each is triggered.
