INSTEON compatibility for outstanding performance

Monitor and control your garage door using your Insteon network. This kit takes advantage of the IOLinc's two way ability to both control the garage door and also monitor it's status using the included magnetic contact. You can link the IOLinc to a KeypadLinc and have a convenient button that lights up when the garage door is open, and also use a KeypadLinc button to open/close the garage door. Or use with an Insteon Hub or ISY994 for advanced options.

Note: To ensure your garage door is compatible, find the connections on the garage door opener that go to the garage door button. Use a piece of wire to quickly short the two connections together for 1 second. If the garage door opens and closes, it will be compatible. If it does not please contact our support to discuss other options prior to ordering.

Caution: You should only remotely close a garage door when you know it's safe. Use of safety beam devices can increase the safety of such a system and are often required by law. Check your local municipality for laws regarding remote door closing.
