Vera is an Internet enabled home control solution supporting ZWave automation products including lighting, thermostats and door locks as well as select IP cameras. Vera uses only 6 watts and can be used to help control energy usage in the home to quickly pay for itself. Vera tracks and logs energy usage and is designed to make your home green.
Vera supports full featured home automation including lighting scenes, timers and events with conditional logic. Vera can send a text message or email or even call you to let you know when certain things happen in the home such as a sensor being triggered or too much energy being used.
Vera is guaranteed to work with all true ZWave enabled devices including lamp modules, light switches, thermostats, power strips, alarm sensors, garage door openers, locks and window coverings. Quickly and easily walk through your ZWave network to include each of your ZWave devices then you will have full control of them through timed schedules or remote access.
Vera offers simple and secure web access from anywhere using the findvera.com site or you can set up your own network access. Vera also has a built-in 2 port ethernet switch, 2 USB ports and an 802.11g wireless access point built-in.
Vera supports several wired and wireless network cameras so you can easily view what's happening in your home over the Internet using a true secure connection. No-one else including Vera's engineers can get access to your footage. Vera can also provide an online archive of your recent footage (online archive is a paid service). VERA can be used without the online archive without any fees or charges.

adapter and 2 port switch. VERA2 is shipping with a new flash based
interface called UI3 but users who prefer the original interface as
shown in our screen shots have the option to download and install the
original interface from Micasa Verde's web site.
